I am pleased to announce the 4th Annual Wichita Mid-Continent Open on March 10th, 2012 at Andover Central
Middle School. Andover is a small suburb east of Wichita, KS. Wichita is approximately 2 3/4 hours from Kansas
City, 2 1/2 hours from Tulsa and Oklahoma City, 5 hours from Dallas/Ft Worth and Omaha, NE to name a few cities.
Wichita is located pretty much smack dab in the middle of the country and it's easy to get here. It's a straight shot
north or south on I-35.
As usual we will have four events for one low price; $70 for all competitors.
Students of all ages can compete in:
-TKD forms
-TKD Olympic Sparring
-Weapons Forms
-Padded Sword Sparring (all equipment provided)
$5 spectator fee
$0 coaching fee
Masters or school owners that bring students receive free admission.
Custom medals to be awarded to the every competitor.
This year at our tournament for the first time will feature the brand new Daedo True Score system for Black Belts
11 and above. All other rings will utilize the Precision Score system for the other Olympic sparring divisions. My
goal is to have 5 rings with one in the center running the True Score system. Last year we ran four rings and
accommodated over 250 competitors and we were out of the gym by 5:30 pm. Don't miss this opportunity to try out
the new system that will be used in the 2012 Olympic Summer Games.
